AR15 Grip Screw Trigger Creep Adjuster

 

THE best bang for your buck to improve any AR15 Trigger Creep!

 

One of the BEST upgrades possible for a mil-spec fire control group, period! This trigger adjuster replaces the factory grip screw to reduce trigger creep, lessen pull weight, and improve hammer break for better accuracy. Use alone or as part of a complete trigger job. Use this to fine-tune any mil-spec style trigger. These can be used in combination with the JP reduced power springs.

 

SPECS:
Steel Grip Screw manufactured in the USA
Steel Set Screw manufactured in the USA
Grip screw is Swiss CNC machined to accept the internal adjustment set screw.

Gunsmith fitting recommended but not required.

***The lower receiver must be drilled and tapped all the way through the pistol grip or the trigger adjuster will not be able to thread in completely. Please inspect your lower receiver prior to installation to ensure safe installation. ***

 

 

Directions for Assembly:

***BE SURE THE FIREARM IS UNLOADED BEFORE PROCEEDING***

  1. Separate the upper receiver from the lower receiver.
  2. Cock the hammer back and set the safety lever to safe.
  3. THE LOWER MUST BE ON “SAFE” TO ADJUST CORRECTLY
  4. Apply Blue Loctite (medium Thread Locker) to the set screw.
  5. Install set screw so that it is completely inside the grip screw the set screw should sit flush with the end of the grip screw.
  6. Remove original grip screw. Make sure not to lose the safety spring & detent!
  7. Place Grip Screw with adjuster into grip and tighten thoroughly with the supplied Hex Driver.
  8. Tighten set screw using the supplied Hex Key. Do not tighten past stopping point.
  9. At this point the safety lever won’t move or will be hard to move.
  10. Back the set screw out 1/8 turn at a time until the safety lever moves freely again.
  11. Function test the lower: checking that hammer, trigger, and safety are all functioning correctly.
  12. This is as far as you can adjust the adjuster.
  13. Let the loctite (thread locker)dry overnight.
